I have worked in the wedding industry for nearly all my adult career and I can safely say I LOVE it!
Weddings By Dearbháile was always a dream that I never thought would happen until I found myself in a worldwide pandemic. Friends who were due to marry in 2020 called upon my expertise to help them navigate through this terrible time. Following this I started Wedding By Dearbháile in August 2020 and have never looked back! I offer Advice & Guidance Sessions, Venue Décor Setup, On The Day Coordination & Full Wedding Planning!
I am extremely passionate and I can honestly say I go above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the wedding I am working on is executed flawlessly. I pride myself on my friendly/bubbly character, my communication skills, organisational skills and always being the perfect swan while juggling all aspects of the wedding.

A Chat with Dearbháile
This service is for couples wanting to plan their own wedding but feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to even start! You have literally exited the engagement bubble and realised you have no idea how to plan a wedding, or maybe you guys soaked up life as an engaged couple and decided one day right lets finally get hitched. Well lucky for you I know exactly what to do and how to help you!
I will be like a mentor, on hand to answer any queries, provide recommendations and ensure you have all the bases covered. Whether you need help with finding the perfect venue, sourcing suppliers, booking your ceremony, confirming wedding day timelines or even budget guidance I can provide my professional knowledge, recommendations, and guidance to help. Sometimes you just need an impartial friendly chat with someone who listens and has a wealth of information on weddings.
The best part of this service is you can get the advice as little or as often as you need it and whenever you need it. This service is a pay as you plan service. You can hire me at any point of your wedding planning. It can be in person over a coffee or via phone/zoom if you prefer.
On The Day Coordination
Have you planned your wedding? Booked all your suppliers, sent out all your invites, chosen that perfect dress or dapper suit? Done everything, yet you’re not sure it’s all going to go to plan, and who is going to make sure it happens just like you have visualised it? Then this is the service for you! Book with me, and I am that person!!

In the lead up to your wedding day, you may begin to feel the pressure and somewhat unorganised. You may be worried about timelines, suppliers and even extra details that you didn’t even know you had to think about. The On The Day Coordination service removes all these niggles and allows you enjoy the build up to your wedding knowing that the day itself will be managed by a professional – me!
This service would usually be booked at 6 weeks in advance of your wedding date allowing us to finalise all details and make sure everything is ready for the big day, however, can be booked much closer to the day!
Full Wedding Planning
From start to finish, I will be on hand to guide and assist you through the planning process. You will receive dedicated attention to ensure your wedding is completely personal, and that your vision becomes reality.
This service is for you if you know the type of wedding you want but the thought of planning a wedding as well as your everyday commitments seems impossible, and you need some assistance.
Venue Décor Setup
Venue Décor Setup is exactly that. I set up all your venue décor that you’ve been collecting since you said Yesss! Tealight holders, sweet tables, wedding signage, table décor, favors etc etc Who needs the stress of doing this the night before or morning of the wedding. Many venues stipulate that they do not offer this service and therefore you need to hire someone like me to swoop in and look after all these details.

I was lucky enough to be put in touch with this lovely lady only a week before my wedding to host/coordinate - A service I wasn’t totally sure I needed at the time but how wrong was I !!
From start to finish Dearbháile had everything organised to a tee & because we were outside of the normal ‘hotel’ setting we only had bar and outside catering staff, which she worked in partnership with to make sure everything ran so smoothly! She had my guests sitting and fed with a drink before we even arrived, nothing on the day was too much and if something needed doing Dearbháile had it done before I even asked!
If you are organising a wedding outside of a hotel setting and are considering a coordinator or host she is your woman definitely made for the job!
